Nice.. This piece would be perfect in FF7, and that's a big word, cause it's one of the greatest games ever made IMO. It's like it is in the background but wants to come forward and take over the entire world.
Also, I just got some flashbacks of Chrono Cross.
Curious, what set of orchestral instruments do you use? Edirol? Garritan's? Or something I've never heard of, cause i've listened to many of your tracks and it sounds so realistic, partially because it is well mastered too.

I used edirol completely for this
    Thanks

this is a simple piece, but I can hear improvement :).
This melody is really simple but still! First thing would be to add some background sounds.. let's say, strings? just playing the accords that are used. then there could be some variations in the melody, which shouldn't take too long to do :D.
a bit more hi-hats and it will be juicy. How about it?

These are just suggestions. :) peace

Yea those are all very good suggestions, however I dont have the file anymore because I am using a demo version of FL :(

    wow

At first, it seemed to be some kind of an ancient chinese folk song or something. But when the guitars kicked in, it got a better feel to it, INSTANTLY! Nobody really dislikes those fast solos either, amazing. And to think of it, the rythmguitar didn't change at all, but I notised that after a few listens :).

1:08 and forward says only one thing: experiense. You managed to end the song perfectly, which may be the hardest part in most of all songs.

I was wondering, since there are so many notes, did it take you a long time to make this, or was it just improvising, like, just to heck with it?

    Truly love this. Downloading.

    Metalcan responds:

Thanks for the nice review mate. To answer your question, I just improvised a lot of solo's until I got some nice parts that that stuck in my head. Then I just played them over and over, trying to clean up the crappy parts, and I ended up with the solo's that you hear on the tune.

Really glad you liked it that much. Thanks for voting and everything!

    Nice

Nice riffs dude. Reminds me of metallica:

Thanks for your vote, Kimken! You voted 5 for Your Time Has Come!, raising its score from 3.33 to 3.75.

    rocker206 responds:

    Very well done!
This would suit in well in a flash.. i wonder why noone has used it yet :/

    Anyways, 5/5.

    heather-lanham responds:

    thank you! ^_^ I plan on useing it at some point if no one else does...^_^;

    Kweh?

What's the point of making a song that sounds JUST like the original? :/ Maybe you should have changed some of the instruments? or add some new ones?

I like FF music but this just sounds like a copy. Why not just post the original song here? :/

    Reone663 responds:

I have not used that games own instruments just fyi (for your information)! All samples are gathered various soundfont files i have, but i have NOT used FF7 instruments on any part. So what if sounds original? Who cares anymore anyway.

    Nice again!

Yet again you make it sound like World of Warcraft music! :D
But that's only a good thing because warcraft music owns! :D

I liked all the instruments you used.. i would like to know the VST's for the violins and the bell sounds.. they sound awesome!

Very well made piece with nice harmonics!

    5/5 with no doubt!

    MaestroRage responds:

I like World of Warcraft music too :D. However I havn't heard it for a long time O_O!!! Maybe I should go back and listen to em, some of them were pretty sweat arse.

The main VST for this song was East West Orchestra Gold, for pretty much every sound.

    The panflute was Ethnosphere :D.

    Nice!

    Hey!

You reviewed one of my songs and i promised to review one of yours!

Since i personally like composing videogame music i think that this would fit in pretty well in a "burned/dark/strange" and of course "empty" beach or something.. it's just something about the SFX that you used that this sounds ike a beach song! :D

It was well composed and i could hear that you put a lot of effort on this!

Very good job on this song!

If you want.. you can hear my new recording which you haven't reviewed yet.. it's "Experiment #1"
Plz check it out if you have time!

    Keep it up!

    itsameyayo responds:

    -SuperDrummer146-

    Nice!

    I really liked this!
    The melodies were great!
Though, i could not tell, was it played by a real guitar?

Never heard "everyday". But this was still veeeery well done by you!

Check out my newly recorded songs at http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/view.php?id=1453848
Maybe it's not your style.. but you should give it a go anyway! :D first songs i ever recorded and im not so good with the EQ's yet! :D

Well. I hope to hear good music from you again!

    WuSchell responds:

hey, i know it sounds like a guitar but i've never intended that. i tried to create a rudess-like keyboard sound and this sound is what came out of the synth. ^^
