Wow!

When i started listening to this song i was instantly hooked.
Loved how you used the strings and the drums.

In some way this reminds of World of Warcraft music. I love the music in that game and i love this piece that you have made.

I can't give you any suggestions because i don't know how to do this ANY BETTER.

This would fit in pretty well for a battle scene.. or maybe a lord of the rings tribute or something like that.

Well i give you my 5's :)

Lord of the Ring's tribute eh? Pshaw, there's way too many of those, but I do also see this in a WarCraft type game, I think this may be because of the bongo drums I used. I love bongo drums...

Pointless

I just don't get what the point is in doing a mix of this piece, 'cause the original sounds perfect as it is. But whatever.
Just a few notes were wrong and otherwise it sounded good.
That instrument sounds.. well, not too great.
But what could you do? If you put in a piano (which was in the original), it wouldn't be a mix anymore.

What I want to hear, is a cool version of this song, a bit mysterious perhaps. With drums!

i see where your coming from but you see i did some googling and couldent find a mp3 for this only crappy midis that sounded bad so i decided to try to remake this great song so people who enjoy activley lisening to piano music can do that without owning the final fantasy game, i happen to listen to rock though.

This sounds like testing instruments to me, or something to that direction.
Those drums annoy me, and that guitar just keeps repeating itself all the time.
Everything's fumbling.

I really loved this when the snares came in!
But the violin in the background before that sounded a bit odd, and the chords at the snare-part were also strange.
If you would change the bassdrum, which makes this less orchestral to something more orchestral, this would be better.
But that's just my opinion.

Some tones from the strings just split my brain in two, made me cry and beg for mercy. Easy to fix, do it.

Even though I can hear that you've spent some time in doing this, I advice you to spend more.
More orchestral.

I know you can do it :)

It is good to get a more direct review. Thank you Kimken, you have confirmed some of my suspicions of the piece. A lot of the dissonance I put in there myself, to symbolize the chaotic journey Dan had taken throughout his stay on Newgrounds.

I am a little unsure of which parts you mean for tones in strings. If you could pm me a specific example, I would greatly appreciate it.

I will spend more time on it, where the finished product will land i'm not sure, but more time will be spent.

You had a great idea!
I liked the beginning and how it changed.
If you canplay real instead of "slayer" it would sound 10x much better

A) Get a better mic or some sort of in-computer recorder to record the Guitar Paro file I wrote this with, or
B) Find someone good enough to play the parts.

Well done, I liked this one. Work more on this piece, it's already good but you can make it better. After listening to some of your work, I realised that you've got talent.

I strongly suggest you to complete this, it reminded me somewhat of a mario game..? Just do it :D

Yeah

Nice effects but I got really sleepy after listening to this for about a minuter or so.The drums were good, otherwise this just bored me.

You should definitely add more stuff to this song :O It was quite simple, but if you do it right, you could make it sound great.
